This whole BSE in Canada thing has been going on for about 2 years now and has really hurt the Canadian economy. Now I have come up with a THEORY why all this can be blamed on good old George Bush. In early 2003 the Canadian government announced that they would not support George Bush's war in Iraq. Obviously Bush wasn't pleased, so what did he do? He took one of the many CIA agents in Canada had them walk up to some lonely Northern Alberta pasture and inject a cow with the disease. A few weeks later they "happen" to find the cow and BAM! The whole Canadian beef industry takes a huge nosedive. Then, with that big producer out of the way, all of the ranching/beef companies from the south, who of course support Bush, are suddenly getting a lot more business. And come election time Mr. Bush will have a little extra spending money from these companies. Not only does Bush get his revenge but he gets a little bit of pocket change as well. The dates correspond as well. Unless I am mistaken the war started in March of 2003, and the first case of BSE was less than 2 months later. Coincidence?
