Here is a reason why people consider them great:

They influenced little kiddies in the US and Britain to get a guitar and suck at playing. They were horrible pop-rock that got popular because there was no musical variety in the 60s.

They were too simple and very untalented, both lyrically and musically. I do not know why people like them so much.

No musical variety in the 60's? You've got to be kidding me. The 60's was incredibly diverse, with all the different kinds of rock and folk coming in. Too simple? Listen to Revolver or Abbey Road? Untalented? Each Beatle played at least two instruments, and wrote their own songs. If you don't like them, that's fine, but your bashings dont even seem to be rooted in reality.

I like Puffy's music, the show kinda sucks though...

and I must say, that Abbey Road is a great album, and I'm 14... so yeah. Maxwell's Silver Hammer was great, i'm sorry, and Octapus' Garden made me laugh, good song also.
