Thanks for mentioning having seen it. I knew I couldn't have been the only one on this site that tried it.Originally Posted by Killy

Well, someone said that it had to be done on disc 2 first and then again on disc 3 to get Vincent's Level 4 limit and weapon, but I went back again later and tried again while still on disc 3 and I was able to get them. I was excited about his limit when I saw what he turned into, but the attack was pretty lame.![]()

perhaps different versions of the game released in different parts of the world have the "ghost" Aeris included to different degrees. Or maybe we all just remember things differently.
And what do Vincent's limits have to do with the topic?
All I know is that when I entered the church, I saw Aeris sitting in the flower bed for just a second and then she started flickering and disappeared. This was after all of the story line was completed before proceeding to the Northern Cave to kick Sephy's butt!!
I think that she disappears after a split-second if you return to the church before her death. If you go back later, though, her ghost doesn't vanish until you try to walk up to her. That's why I think that the earlier appearance is a glitch, and the later one is deliberate.
I remember the first time I saw her there... back in '99 or so, I guess. I was all like
"omg omg omg!"
*runs toward her*
*Aeris disappears*
;__________;
That's odd. Even on Disc 3 with me, she disappears after that split-second. I know it's not just my copy of the game, because the same thing happens on my brother's disc and my friend's. Perhaps one's affection level with her plays a role in this? I always have my affection with her be as low as possible, as I dislike her.Originally Posted by Big D

Could well be related to the affection value. She definitely doesn't begin to flicker and vanish until you run about half-way up the rows of chairs. Until you get that close, she's busy pottering around in the flowers, beside those kids.Originally Posted by Squall of SeeD
Aeris disappears quickly in my current file as well, and I did nothing to reduce her affection level. What's strange is that I seem to recall her not immediately vanishing in previous files.Originally Posted by Squall of SeeD
