FF12 on the xbox 360?
My friend keeps insisting that FF12 is coming out on the Xbox 360, I told him it was FF11 but he said they're making FF12 for it as well. So I don't know what to believe anymore. Is it coming out for the 360 or will I get to play it before having to spend $400 on a new system?
FFXII will be for the PS2. Whether they'll port it to the 360 or not remains to be seen.
They've only confirmed FFXI for the X-Box 360 so far.
FFXII will definitely be for the PS3. It may get ported, as Abominatrix said, but your friend is wrong on every level. If he still disagrees, bring him to EoFF, as I would gladly prove him wrong.

The guy was either trying to rattle your chains or he somehow took Mistwalkers confirming game for Microsoft as meaning Final Fantasy was going 360. Or he was incredible misinformed somewhere else.

You're the one who said PS3 in your previous post, which is why people are getting confused.
It will be for the PS2, and therefore for the PS3 technically considering backwards compatability. Xbox 360...I don't see why they'd do that...and nothing like that has ever been said to my knowledge.
Bottom line: It will be on the PS2.

My dad must have been pulling my leg then, he said it would be on ps3 (yes i live with my parents! i'm frikkin 13! lol), we are major final fantasy geeks. lol. I cant wait to play final fantasy 12 though. It looks really nice, and the music is spectacular. I may be 13, but i've played all of the final fantasy games ( i said my dad and i are geeks, he bought every final fantasy).
