How do I get Vivi to win the Master Hunter? And what card do you get? Is it even worth it?
To get Vivi to win you must KO both Freya and Zidane in the fight with the Zaghnol. You win a Theatre Ship Card, but this can be gotten from Chocograph treasure or won from the Four-Armed Man later in the game. I suggest letting Freya win (KO Zidane in the Zaghnol fight and let Freya defeat it) as the Coral Ring is by far and away the best prize. It teaches Lancer to Freya as well as Insomniac and Man Eater to the other characters, absorbs Thunder damage and increases Spirit by 2 and Mag Evade by 3.

Or, you could let Vivi win, and get them to go on a date. If you do well enough you will get the secret ending where Garnet gets with Vivi instead of Zidane.

And then you get the SECRETER ending where Vivi and Aeris get together.
Vivi can win on his own, with a little of Zidane's help. When you start, get back in the trolley and go to the Business District. Run to the second screen until you see Vivi being attacked by a Fang. Kill the Fang for him. After this, Vivi will start doing really well, beating out Freya about half of the time. After that, it's up to who happens to have the highest score when the time is up, usually it's Freya but if you help Vivi out he has a decent chance of winning.
Ok, cheers. and I must try out that 1000 monsters secret ending thing. Oh, wait, that's right, I'm not an idiot.
