Jeb Bush is calling for an investigation into the whole Terry Schiavo thing and wants to know why it took so long for Mr. Schiavo to call 911. I thought after she died I wouldn't have to hear any more of this. I guess I was wrong and that if they keep this up. It could still be fresh enough to be a campain topic in 2006 midterm elections.
Why is Jeb calling in an investigation, though? On what grounds?
On the grounds that he thinks Mr. Schiavo is responsible for everything and that he wanted his wife to die and stupid stuff like that.
OR
He has to try and do everything possible to appeal to his christian base to save face by doing stuff like this.
Yeah, this was on the news this afternoon. Totally stupid stupid stupid. They know it was because of her eating disorder and it was her own fault. God I hate politicians.

Though I don't know why it's Jeb's place, I do agree with it. Her husband did the wrong thing, with the wrong intentions, and there should be some justice served.
Though I don't know how this'll affect him politically. Everybody saw his fight during the situation, I don't know what political purpose this would serve after-the-fact.
Terry Schaivo should have lived, and Jeb Bush should have died in her place.

So when will investigations be called on all of the other cases such as this where foul play might possibly maybe be suspect? It's a political stunt, and the disgusting thing is that people will buy it.
So now that he can't dispute the fact that his favorite breathing, blinking corpse was indeed dead all those years, he has to further pursecute Michael Shiavo by blaming it all on him.

I find it to be incredible that there are actually people in this world who aren't apalled by this. Jeb Bush is exploiting a dead woman for political gain. I hate this man, and I don't understand how anybody could feel differently.
Politicians have long exploited the death or suffering of others.
My country's in the middle of an election year, so various politicians are are going flat-out in their efforts to make hollow promises to the sick, the elderly and the poor. Similar kinds of scenarios are occurring, though not to the same grotesque extent as what has happened in Mrs. Schiavo's case.
It's both sad and infuriating that this stuff is allowed to happen.
