And??? just run or use theifs flee ability!
It's no biggie, just continually hit it until your sixty seconds or up, or better still, steal from it and grab some stuff from it! Think of it as a free item giver

You can also chip away at its health to make it easier to beat in chapter 5, or you could kill it early (comes back anyway) to get lots of EXP.
