Minors don't have all the rights that adults have, but you'll have those rights when you are an adult, because you will become one. Sometimes I do think schools limit students' voices a little too far, I'll agree with you there...but I mean, marriage and voting are citizenship rights too, and minors don't have those for obvious reasons.
