Is it unAmerican to say "Uni"?

I have to go with Kishi and Del on this one. Uni = two syllables. College = two syllables. One's a perversion of the original word that sounds stupid that lazy and/or mentally deficient people use, and one's an actual word.

It's college. Or, I might call it university, if applicable. But not "uni."
