Im sorry Kawaii Ryűkishi, but that was just stupid. He saidThe only important things are the Hardedge (Cloud sword) from #rd Soldier and Carbon Bangles from Moth Slasher. But Warning Boards are nothing; Mighty Grunts are Grenades; Sword Dances (bluish fish thingies) are Hypers; Hammer Blasters are Echo Screens; Grenade Combatants are Tranquilizers; And thats are there is BEFORE you get Red XIII.Originally Posted by sayen

The other twon games which i couldn't depart from are Xenogears and FFT. And i also found a pattern, All of which were released 1997 or 1998 and were on PS. I have lost some faith in Squaresoft when they merged with Enix, they no longer adapt a well-thought plot as nearly as much as the older titles. And thus, I say to you Square-Enix, "Up yours!"
He said he's IN the Shin-Ra building. He ASKED for a list of the weapons and armor you can steal.
OMGWTFBBQ!!!@one!1!1 K@WA11 1s t3H FF7 m@s73R!
Yep he got it right
Actually, in addition to what was listed, there are a few other weapons which can be stolen. They are:
Grand Glove (Madouge)
Atomic Scissors (Custom Sweeper)
W Machine Gun (Death Machine)
The armor list is complete.
thanks guys and the first guy who answerd was right i said im in the shinra buildig and therefor i wanted a list of all stealable weapons and armur. i for got about accseorys though what bout them
really, the only accessort you steal is the Tough Ring form Reno in Midgar the second time around. Everything else you buy and/or win from battles.

Not at all. A number of accessories can be acquired or acquired in significant numbers only through stealing.
A full list of accessories which can be stolen is as follows.
Touph Ring (Reno [both in the Gelnika and in Midgar])
Circlet (Ho-chu, Snow, Ultima Weapon [in locations where it flies])
Curse Ring (Ultima Weapon [battle in Mideel])
Reflect Ring (Ultima Weapon [in locations where it fights from the ground])
Water Ring (Acrophies, Serpent)

thanks again out of curiosity whos the best to put steal materia on?
Whoever has the highest Dexterity or Luck usually helps, I think.
Are you sure you can steal the Curse Ring? I never knew that... I didn't even know you could steal from Ultima WEAPON itself... Plus you can morph the Serpent for an additional Water Ring.
And yes, Dex helps with stealing.

Yes, I'm sure. Stealing from Ultima Weapon when it attacks the party in Mideel will yield one of the two Curse Rings in the game. Later battles against Ultima Weapon (when it's on the ground) are the only opportunities to gain additional Reflect Rings (you will always receive one Reflect Ring following the fight with Jenova∙DEATH in the Whirlwind Maze).Originally Posted by Khimbar
You can only steal Water Rings from Serpents. Like all enemies on the Gelnika, the Serpent morphs into a Source (a Mind Source, in this particular case).Originally Posted by Khimbar
It's difficult to say this with full certitude, but I've read that the success rate of the Steal and Mug commands are based solely on the character's level. Really, though, whether the Steal success rate algorithm for the game uses level or Dexterity, it shouldn't matter too much which character gets the Steal materia.Originally Posted by sayen

IMHO, everyone in your active party. In addition, once I got the materia, I'd also equip someone with the Steal as Well=Morph combo, and I would make sure I'd robbed every monster and morphed all the morphable ones before I'd end any fight. Needless to say that usually the only time I stopped at an Item shop was to unload some of the swag I was hauling.thanks again out of curiosity whos the best to put steal materia on?![]()
Doesnt really matter who gets steal in the active party to begin with but I always build that person up with luck and dexterity, and give them deathblow too. Using chocobo lure materia and luck plus materia helps a lot, as well as all the luck sources you can find!
And using the curse ring at any point is a REALLY bad idea I cant think of a single oppurtunity where its useful. Its just for people who are mega smart and can think a way round all the disadvantages and status ailments that it gives the character who bears it!
