The Gamegear and the Master system use the same technolegy, so it's pretty much the same console.

Actually, games were being made for the Dreamcast up until recently in Japan, the console is exceptionally long-lasting, just because it hasn't had games released outside Japan doesn't mean it's dead.
In fact, I'm not even sure they've stopped making games for it.
Great console for shooter games.
I don't live in Japan, but it has long ceased existence in the U.S.
