    Default What computer do you have / work on / are working towards getting?

    As I'm getting my first computer for my 18th birthday (I don't know why I'm ranting on about it now, I've 'til November the 4th to wait.) I was wondering what computer you have / work on / are working towards getting. (I'm only on a computer now because I'm on one at Sixth Form.)

    I'm hoping to get a Dell Dimension 3000... Not brilliant I know, but it is for my first computer.
    I've not a clue about the one I'm on at the minute... because all the computers are connected underneath in this table I'm at. >_<

    I roll with customs, yo.

    CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2000+ (blah this needs upgraded...but I don't want to buy a new mobo too)
    HDD1: Quantum Fireball 9gb (WOWZERZ)
    HDD2: Seagate...something. 80gb.
    RAM: 1024mb PC2700 DDR
    GPU: GeForce FX 5200 128mb DDR (also needs upgraded, probably will do this summer)
    CD/DVD-R: Hitachi something-or-other
    CD-RW/DVD-/+RW: NU DVD+/-RW

    onboard audio, but I'm not much of an audiophile. I have another 256mb stick of RAM I took out because I thought it was causing problems that I might put back in sometime.

    I work on two computers at the moment. One is a piece of crap HP that I got in 2000. 903MHz PIII. 384MB of RAM (I can't remember what kind). SB Audigy. 40GB HDD @ 5200RPM (I don't know how we lived back then). 64MB Geforce 2.

    My other box:
