How can I get the Golden Chocobo in FF7?

I've got a Black Chocobo and ranked him to Rank S and I've got a Wonderful Chocobo still Rank C, I fed both of them 25 Sylikies Greens and maximized their skills.. Yet when I mate them with a Zeio nut I either get a plain chocobo or a Black Chocobo..

Does the rank effects the chances of getting a Golden Chocobo?

All of my Black Chocobo's parents are Rank S except his grandmother (the Good Chocobo) which is Rank A..

what did I do wrong, what should I do?

Your chances of a gold chocobo are increased if it's parents are both S class

You need to revive aeris first.

Ignore Levian.

Just keep trying. Save outside the farm, go in, mate them, see what you get. If it's not what you want then soft-resest (all shoulder buttons+Start+Select) and try again. Also, try feeding them more Sylkis Greens and get the Wonderful to S rank.

You need to revive aeris first.

But to do that you must get a Multi-Colored Chocobo and fly to an island that isn't in the map. When you get there, walk around counter-clockwise 257 times. You will hear a chime. Fly to another island that isn't on the map, walk around clockwise 257 times. You will get the Jewel Rod. In a fight against a Tonberry, choose the Item option and use the Jewel Rod in the Everyone's Grudge animation (and Everyone's Grudge should do exactly 1337 damage). Aeris will be summoned, and destroy the Tonberry with Holy. After that, Cloud and Aeris kiss and she returns to your team. Simple, huh?

shut up you smeghead.just get your rank C chocobo at a higher rank and it will work. to get mine i got my chocobos both to rank A it doesnt takes so long either.

All you need to do is get both of the chocobos to rank a or higher, and then mate them with a zeio nut.
