Anyway, posting a lot works. I'd say that I know and am friends with quite a few "established" members, and I don't know if I've ever shown my intelligence... (Well, if I don't have any to show.... xD) A lot of people also use PMs to get to know people better. ^_^

Just get to know people. That's all you really need to do. The easiest way in my opinion is to post consistently and join the chatroom. The chatroom is active enough these days to allow you to get to know people rather quickly.
