    FFXIV Character

    Loony Bob (Twintania)

    Default

King Kong (the new one) - If you're like me, and...
    1) Are able to get really, really into a movie,
    2) have a strong love for animals, and
    3) have a fear of unstable heights
...then you might not want to watch this movie. 4/5. It only doesn't get 5/5 because, well, the acting could have been a fair amount better and there were some bits that just didn't seem like they were needed.

EDIT: Oh, and there were certain characters that I just felt were lacking, such as Driscoll and many of the ship crew. The only real stars in this film as far as I'm concerned were Naomi Watts (Ann Darrow) and Andy Serkis (Kong). Kretschmann did alright as Captain Englehorn, and the ship crew were alright too, but in the end they just seemed wasted as the story left them behind.

    The Master of Disguise- 0/5
This is utter unwatchable trash, I found the moive on TV, and I have lost the time spent watching the filth where I could've done something more fun, like stapling my ear to my big toe. Dull plot, the comedy was awful, it was just horrid in every aspect.

    King Kong- Infinity/5
    Best film like ever. <3

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe- 4/5
Spectacular production values, great acting, great characters, great music, same great story, and true to the book. Though I've read the book many times, so I can't help but feel a little bored, knowing whats going to happen. For me, that's the biggest flaw for novel-based movies, but I'm probably one of the only people who has this problem and it's not that big of a problem for me either. Good film.

    The Brothers Grimm- 2.5/5
I could barely watch it but I sat through it and found it ever so mildly enjoyable.

Perfect Blue. Suspenseful Thriller. This is a great anime movie that everyone who likes the genre (or just anime in general) should watch. 5/5.
