I like SC a lot, but I've always been a C&C: RA person.
I'm not a huge RTS fan, though.
Age of Empire II: The Conquerors Expansion.
If only I hadn't lost my AoE II disc, so I could still play it.![]()

Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2, definitely.
Although my current favourite is the Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth.
warcraft 3-frozen throne expansion
It looks like the ground had a sex change.
I played a lot of starcraft back in the day. I loved it.

I think Civ III is just a strat. game. No real time to it.
does dynasty warriors count?

Dynasty Warriors is a hack 'n slash/action game. I'd have to say my favorite would either be C&C: Red Alert 2 or Age of Empires II. I probably played Warcraft II more than both of those combined, though, when I was a kid.
When I was a kid, Dune 2 was all that mattered.![]()

Starcraft and Warcraft 3. Starcraft is still the best hands down, especially in multiplayer with the sheer number of units you can build, and the fact that the game is perfectly balanced. Strangely enough, my least favorite race in the game was Zerg, but they're all I use now online as they suit my playing style the most, and I'm best as them. Warcraft 3 is great as well though. It's really not that hard once you learn armor and attack types, which you can have figured out in no time if you use a guide of some sort. My favorite race is definitely Night Elves, mainly because I was always best as them. Never could get the hang of the others.
