If you were going to be put on a remote desert island but could take any one item into the place with you, what would it be and why?
For me it would have to be my Ipod probably, or my new phone, not that it would do much good

A solar powered iPod of course! I'd pick computer, but I think those are too advanced to be solar powered.

Provided that it would be for only a remote time being there, and of course I'd have all the basic things to live (food & shelter), I'd take an mp3-player (maybe iPod) that lasts for as long as I am there. I'd go crazy if I had to stay in complete silence with myself more than a few days, and if I had a human as company, it'd probably lead to arguments after some time, whereas music doesn't argue with me ^^
