i like the idea of a shopping day so then it can just be a day trip. i say manchester or birmingham as they seem big enough to satisfy my shopping needs
alton towers could be too expensive for some.

I won't be coming, since first of all, I don't know you (and you don't know me) very well, and second of all, because the flight there and back alone would cost something between 100 and 150 euros, plus any trips from London and back, plus food & accommodation. And I don't have that kind of money.
