Thread Topics

Some people make more threads than others...some way more...some so much more often than everyone else that you want to kill them with fire emitted from a combination of a torch and Vodka spit orally in their direction while lounging on some remote island off the coast of some country near China that no one besides people who live there or in China have ever heard of.

So this has always made me wonder: what inclines you to make threads, and how do you think up topics/pick topics to make threads on? I know it's not just whatever pops into your head, because then we'd have like a million new threads a day if people did that...oh wait.

I myself don't make threads very often. When I do make topics, it's usually something that I had in my head all day that I thought would make a good thread. Usually I'm wrong, but at work it seems clever.

A search on my own posts shows that the last two non staff forum threads I've made were both in April. One was wishing Jojo a happy birthday and the other was asking people what their favorite engine oil was. That sounded like a cool thread idea at the time, but it really was a dud. The one before that was a little more fun. In march, I asked guys if they had ever found a girl with facial hair attractive. It was pretty overwhelmingly no!

So yeah, I try not to make threads too often because most of my ideas are bad.

All the threads I make are of the important stuff in life. Like that time I proposed to Roogle.

What makes you make a thread about making threads?

I make them if something comes up or I see a decent thread that has been used on another forum.

Most of the forums i go on are just general chat and i tend to post alot of random things. the people who have as bad a sense of humour as i do find it amusing and in turn they do the same becoz i find it amusing. usually if i want to talk about something serious, i go to another forum site where their is usually a different class of people

Usually mine are based on things that I find funny or interesting, but most of my threads are about bands.

If something strikes me as a good topic, then I do it. I do it sparingly, though.

I hardly ever make threads. So I can hardly remember what half my threads are about I just choose to post in threads rather than actually make them.

I usually post about things I want to know, things that happened to me, or spammy things that I think will amuse me for a while. ^^ I don't post threads too often.

Last time I made a topic was...jesus, probably a year ago. I've only made about 4 all the time I've been here. I had an idea for a good one sometime last week, but I forgot and I can't remember it.

Whatever is on my mind becomes a thread topic, unless I'm playing ps2, then I just spam a current thread with that question.
