Good topic idea!

I myself don't make threads very often. When I do make topics, it's usually something that I had in my head all day that I thought would make a good thread. Usually I'm wrong, but at work it seems clever.

A search on my own posts shows that the last two non staff forum threads I've made were both in April. One was wishing Jojo a happy birthday and the other was asking people what their favorite engine oil was. That sounded like a cool thread idea at the time, but it really was a dud. The one before that was a little more fun. In march, I asked guys if they had ever found a girl with facial hair attractive. It was pretty overwhelmingly no!

So yeah, I try not to make threads too often because most of my ideas are bad.
