Also I think mostly, if the political song isn't extremely powerful and have something else aside the political message, it won't last longer than the time it was made into.
That's an excellent point you made there. Probably it's what that song nik0tine posted dosen't have, a deep message, all I see is a preety superficial critique. That's why I refered to Leonard Cohen, his songs are as meaningful today as they were in the 60s and 70s. Most Bob Dylan songs have that too, although personally I don't believe Dylan to be as good as Cohen.
