My question is this: Why are thier opinions any more valid than anybody elses?

When you burn the flag, you're taking a stand against everything that America stands for, and that includes freedom of speech, democracy and liberty.
Who says?

Funny thing. The only circumstance I would ever desecrate a flag is if a law like this came to pass.
Same here.

i'm for it. why burn a flag of your own nation? it's disrespectful and absurd. only Nazis do those things.
First of all, the only thing 'absurd' here is this statement. Where do you get the idea that 'only Nazis do those things'? But more importantly, do you seriously believe that Nazi ideology, as despicable as it may be, should be censored just because you don't like it? That is a dangerous mindset, and it's one that I cannot accept.
