Sorry cloud, I'm not seeing your point.

A .50 cal magnum handgun has more stopping power than most rifles. Why do people use rifles in hunting? They are more accurate. Its hard to use a hand gun and a scope. Why do the amish use hand guns? I dunno, I guess they need schooled.

Why are people afraid of what guns can do? No gun is any more dangerous than other. Its the intent of the person that has it, not the weapon itself. Didn't 911 prove that relatively harmless devices (planes and box cutters) can be extremely deadly! What about Oklahoma City? Fertilizer!

Is it OK to have acetone peroxide? Sure! Fun for the whole family....if you follow the rules and regulations setup for its use and you are responsible for it. If you have a rock on your property, and you want to blow it up, and its legal, go for it. Blowing up a bus? If its yours, and its legal and its not hurting anyone, sure! Its yours. Responsibility is the key. Morons like those in London shouldn't have had it. They hurt people, and broke the law. They should be found and eliminated.

Weapons are what you make them. They aren't deadly on their own. Isn't that what our second amendment says? We are allowed to carry and own weapons? But the key is -> you can't be stupid and irresponsible.

no. the amish DON'T use handguns. they refuse to. as becuase you say rifles are designed for hunting. handguns are designed for use against other people not animals. that is why they refuse.

i would not like to live in the state we are in right now and then allow people to legaly make bombs. what's wrong with that? because the only time they can be arrested is after it has happened. you cannot prevent the usage.

to have a revolt nowadays is impossible anyway. to think tianamen square would have been any different if they were armed? or that guy standing in front of the tank would have had much of a chance if he had a 12 guage with him? times have past when anyone can fight a war. it just isn't available anymore.

and what about these gun nuts with enough weapons to fight a small skirmish?

And I reckon that if half of China had been armed and willing to fight, there'd have been a pretty damn big change to how Tianeman Square went, or the aftereffects of it.

This is false - Amish will use hand guns - never against a person, but they do not - not use them by any means. I can say this cause I have met an amish man while i was helping at my aunts farm. The prefer the small size for putting down cows and such.

put a 50 cal machingun on the table, don't touch it, and watch. does it fire? does it turn, point at you and yell "gimme all your money or i'll blow your brains out all over the ect. ect."? no. do the same with any other gun, it just sits there. only in the wrong hands is a gun dangerous. law abiding people should have the right to own firearms, besides, if firearms were illegal, the only ones who would have them would be the criminals.

if americans are allowed to have guns because guns don't kill people. why can't they have large quantities have acetone peroxide? explosives don't kill people, people do.
