the us does have the biggest co2 outout. per head and absolutely. since 1990 it has increased 11%. courtesy oif the lovely folks at the bbc. it produces 24% of the worlds co2. end of point.

Anyways I strongly belive that the Right to bear arms - guns - is important. It seems to me that the first ammentdmant was put there to ensure that if the government took over the country wrongly, and to keep the government in check- we can revolt. Although with all the new weapons it would be a null point lol.

I mean - the amendment was written be rebels, who prolly listened to rock and roll and cussed frequently (jking) stick it to the man G.W.!

Mostly correct. The right to bear arms was put in there specifically to allow the populace to rebel in case the government got too tyrannical.

Where you're wrong is the numbers. The first amendment was freedom of speech, relegion, etc... The second was right to bear arms.

It is a significant step up from everyone except for the handful of feudal, royal, or imperial persons on the planet being oppressed. Back then, it wasn't 50% as you claim who live in poverty, but more akin to 99.5%, probably more, but .9 is cliched.

now hang on a second. firearms can be a form of recreation. hunting and other varoius shooting sports (including competitions) are quite safe. explosives on the other hand have no other use except for demolition. clearly you have a problem drawing a line between a recreation and blowing crap up.

i can blow stuff up in my back garden.

i don't actually suffer from a physical disability. i have a coordination disorder that makes complex movement like speech and hand written difficult (as well as some sports). but if someone did break into my house there are lots of legal methods to defend myself.
