Final Fantasy, but I'm not old-school, my mom just didn't have the money to buy me a Super Nintendo until quite a while after it came out.

Rad Racer for Nintendo. I had Final Fantasy, but I didn't play it until I was four or five because you obviously have to have some skill to play it, right?

same here. I rented it the day the video store got it. That is when it all started. Easliy one of my favorite games to date.

FF VII was the first game of Square's i got into, but i vaguely remember playing the first one in the series.

I still remember my Master Black Belt having Iron Nunchucks equipped for the ENTIRE game. I was like boy this guy sucks!
But that was before gamefaqs, walkthroughs, and the internet.

Likewise. Man, was I addicted. Back in the day of that old red Nintendo Power Strategy Guide. And for some reason the most vivid thing I can remember was levelling up and saving money to buy Silver Swords for my Fighter and Red Mage.
Funny though....then it was Mystic Quest, and then it was FFVIII several years later, then FFVII, then FFVI, then FFX, then FFIX. I skipped FF2-FF5. I guess that's because the only consoles I ever owned was an NES and PS2.
