Default Slaying enemies - fastest way?

    Disc. 1

Right now I´m trying to build my characters´ Limit Break levels.
I´ve just finished the Rocket Town event and I´m right now slaying tons of enemies in order to build those Limits.
I know you are able to fight formations of six Battery Caps in the forest near Rocket Town, and yeah, that may seem great for this kind of training.
However, those battles are SLOW, and my relatively weak characters get beaten up a lot, so it takes lots of time and I fall asleep, *yawn*.

    So...

Do you know where you can fight the highest amounts of enemies _in shortest time_?
Not just places with the highest formations, but places where you can actually defeat 60 enemies somewhat fast.

Use either the enemy skill Beta, Trine, or Aqualung (all those use realatively little MP and hit all enemies with max whatever element they are damage). Alternatively, you can Equip charachters with a high hit rate weapon (like Vincent's Sniper CR which has a 100% chance to hit) and the Deathblow materia (With a 100% chance to hit weapon, you'll now have a 50% chance of hitting for double damage). Also, any offensive magic materia + all materia works pretty good, especially if you've leveled the materia up.

As for high monster areas (with easy to defeat monsters) hitch a ride on the cargo ship back to Junon and wander around the forest and beach outside of Junon, where a ton of Capparwires appear in random battles, and they only have about 300 hp each. The Mt. Corel Reactor is also a good place to go for lots of encounters.

You can change the battle speed and any fight will go a lot faster.. To get higher limit breaks, set the limit break meter so that it fills when you attack... If you do that, you will use more Limit breaks, therefore making it level up faster.. (I can't remember if you can do this in FF7)

    Hello.

Also, buy a ton of Hypers and keep your characters in Fury all the time. This will help you train the /2 limits once you unlock the X/ ones. I trained all the characters I had to 3/2 once I reached the forest you get Yuffie in, fighting Capparwires (So cute! :fpenerg. I also had over 50000 gil when I went to Junon and everyone was level 30+, which is another benefit of doing the training all at once. Monies and levels early on. (Not to mention AP.)

But yes, Capparwires are my enemy of choice until quite a bit later on in the game.

    Thanks, everyone, great tips.

You could also equip a mastered "Sneak Attack" Materia and link it with Ultima or something.
That way you´ll constantly start the battles by killing everyone, HA!
However, it´s usable much later, and therefore pretty useless when it comes to mastering Limit Breaks, which at least I accomplish pretty early in the game.

Cloud and some others are at LV30, and the Limits are like this:

    CLOUD: 2/2
    BARRET: 2/1
    TIFA: 1/2
    AERIS: 1/1
    RED XIII: 1/2
    YUFFIE: 1/2
    CAIT SITH: 1
    VINCENT: 1
    CID: 1/1

    In other words, nothing special.
I would rank my team to like 7/10 when it comes to overall strength.
However, my Restore, Fire, Ice and Lightning Materias have advanced to LV2, meaning Cure2, Fire2, Ice2 and Bolt2.

I´ve also got those wonderful Enemy Skills "White Wind" and "Big Guard".

Well yeah, I was actually saved in Cave of the Gi by the "Frog Song", it was really funny to transform the annoying spiders into small frogs, haha!

Anyway, I guess I´ll try your tip.
