Don't think they will bother with bringing it to Us and europe DVD's just for a 30 minute recap of FF7, and I'm sure someone with the japanese version will put it on the internet with subtitles or something.

i think they will, cause it will make $$$$$$lots$$$$$$$$
its included in the special edition, so if the special edition reaches us and europe, im sure they will include it. i would love to see it in subtitles rather than voice overs anyday anyway so it doesnt matter for me. they will probably use the same voice-overs as they have done, because they basicly hired them for the whole compilation.

and btw, its called "Final Fantasy VII Digest".......

Even if it never sees the light of day outside of Japan, you can bet it'll be all over the internet, fansubbed for your downloading pleasure.

I heard that it takes place before FFVII, with Cloud Zack and Sephiroth. It is called "The Last Order: Final Fantasy VII"

it says Final Fantasy Digest on the main Eyesonff.com page. plus it seems to feature tifa without a cowboy hat, not that it really says all that much.

    sooooooo excited!
    President Shinra is dead...

Cloud: "Only Sephiroth can use that sword."
    "You sure?"
Cloud: "Of course. He uses it to shave his legs. Do you think anyone else will want to touch it after that?"

Half an hour is plenty of time to re-cap FFVII's story. Hopefully, this will be available with the English version of AC as well. [q=Ashley]Well with just the plot, the game is much MUCH shorter. A lot of the hours packed in to games is exploring, random battles, useless non-plot dialogue, mini-games, sidequests, and so on.
[/q]It'd be so weird if stuff like Chocobo Breeding and ultimate weapons/limit breaks were included You could do a semi-reasonable recap of FFVII in five minutes, by keeping to the most relevant details.

Yes. you could recap FFVII's in five or so minutes. but with all the hype the compilation fo Final Fantasy VII is getting because of the sequels and prequels to what is
Quite possibly the best game ever made
yoou can't help but wonder weather this is gonna be real and if square was gonna do this Recap then it would most likely be in CG or at the begining of the movie and not a sperate Film/Movie/Ova all together

It is real. It's anime, and it's half an hour long.

theres absolutely no way you could recap it in 5 minutes. 30 minutes is probably about right. at least. you clearly didnt read what anyone else said about it DEFINITELY being real.

Japanese magazine scans have it with its official logo as "Last Order":

So why doesit say Final Fantasy Digest of this page?...

EDIT: It does look like the story is about that shinra mission with cloud, zack, tifa and sephiroth. not sure where the turks come into that though.

Maybe it's the title of the page. Tips & Tricks magazine has a page entitled Final Fantasy World, could have been a better title for the online game than just XI.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.
