    Default If you could..

... Live anywhere out of Final Fantasy VIII, where would it be & why?

The reason I say 'why' is so this topic doesn't turn into a spam of answers. If there's a reason as well, it gives the thread more purpose.

Well, I'd live in Balamb Town. Reason being 'cause it's quiet, the people are friendly, it's next to the sea & there's a train station nearby so I could always go somewhere if I wanted to.

So where would you like to live out of FFVIII?

[By the way, what is the World called in FFVIII?]

Balamb or Esthar, most likely. Maybe Balamb Garden.

Balamb because it's peaceful and calm, and I like the laid back lifestyle.

Esthar because it's got everything you'll ever need and is a large city, and I'm a city slicker.

Balamb Garden 'cause it's purdy and it flies. xD

Deep sea research center. I prefer a quiet life far from the world and spend my time researching on those "animals" living there.

Yeah Balamb does seem pretty nice, Or Timber. They are very peacful, and the mood is very calm, and its quiet...So sometimes you can just sit outside and no one cares what you are thinking about, and it's a nice and small place, so you would have your little circle of friends and you could start up events easily and there is no busy streets and any loud noises and you can just relax and do nothing all day, unless you have something to do. Come to think of it, I would rather live there than where I live now.

I'd have to say maybe Dollet or Deling.......they seem like pretty cool places.

However I'd attend school at Balamb Garden!

So I guess I'd have to say Balamb Garden............

You'd rather live anywhere than with your savior?!

I'd choose the Ragnarok, probably. Fast, powerful, awesome looking...

I'd like to live in Dollet, after the little business of the (SPOILER) war and occupation is resolved. It has a nice European small town feel to it: narrow streets, small shops with apparentments overhead, town square with fountain. I wouldn't be happy in the country or a large city. It's also close to Balamb by rail so I could work in the Garden and commute home every day. Sign me up!

Deling City. Simply because it's my favorite city in all the Final Fantasy games. It's bursting with life, but at the same, you can live at ease without too much mumbling.

I love the winhill village it reminds me of my home cus I live in the countryside and I'd feel well at home, although I like Balamb for the same reasons and thats close to a cool school. timber seems nice too.

I'd live in Deling City because I always wanted to live the city live but there isn't much to do in that city...or anywhere else in the 8th World for that fact
    Luv ya from Gemma

If you feel like letting go then remember that there is at least one person in the world who loves you so at least stick around for them

    Definitely the Balamb Garden!
    It's such a surreal floating building/machine... awesome.
And it has a lot of water, even a relaxing waterfall.

And it has a lot of different young people to share things.

And, best of all, you can travel in it, like a huge camper house!
