Well, since this is a yes or no question that does not include "SOMETIMES" which it should, then yes. Everyone has spammed on a thread at least once during their time here and that automatically makes them a spammer. No ifs, ands, or buts and no redemption about it.
Anyone who has resisted the urge to spam at least once in any forum . . . for them, a new Ciddie should be created and addressed. I think I'll suggest that.

If something doesn't pertain exactly to the topic at hand but is at least humorous or interesting in some way, I wouldn't really consider it spam. But by the general definition of spam, probably.
