did you know there's a rule that one can only enjoy either X-2 or dot hack, but never both? Sorry to disappoint.

although I supposed one could "lik" both.

    *moves to gen gaming*

perhaps you will get more liks here.

EDIT: apparently this is anime and not the game or whatever. *blows things up*

.hack//sign was excellent. I have loved Bee Train ever since I watched Noir, and .hack did not disappoint.

Artwork: Beautiful and detailed. Characters stand out from the backgrounds a little much, but for once the CGI in an anime isn't completely obtrusive. A-

Animation: It's a talkie. It's slow-moving. In more ways than one. Everything moves well, it just doesn't get much of a chance TO move. B

Story: Amazing. Nothing like it has ever been done, and it will most likely never be matched by Bee Train or any other company. However, the pacing is slow. Painfully slow. Horribly slow. This show could have been less than half the size it was and done the story justice. B+

Voice Acting(Dub): Good. I've heard better, I've heard worse, but there are no glaringly annoying squeaky girls, there are no overly-masculine voices for men...it's solid, but certain lines could use more emotion. Subaru, Tsucasa, and Mimiru, however, do not have that problem. B+

Voice Acting(Sub): Amazing. Expressive, suiting, and it overall adds to the feel of it. A+

Music: Excellent. Yuki Kajiura had put together great tracks before this, but this one is her masterpeice. Ranging from techno to Gaelic and back again, it'll keep you interested and overall adds to the feel of the show. A+

    Overall: A-
98% of the teenage population is annoyed with people who are self-righteous because they haven't tried pot. If you're one of the other 2%, bite me.

You are a Black Mage, master of the Arcane you unleash total destruction on your enemys.

You can keep your Little pea shooter and that over sized butter knife you call a sword. I have all I need with my black magic.

I like it. It can get confusing though. Too confusing...

I didn't think it was confusing at all. You just had to make sure that you watched it in order, and never skipped an episode. Otherwise, it's always the episode that has some key piece to the series. I hate it when that happens.

The only thing I didn't like about the series was Tsubaru. I wanted to strangle her.

No-no-no. Tsukasa was annoying. Subaru was slightly less annoying. Personally, the only characters I enjoyed were Mimiru, Crim, and Sora.
Sure Sora was a psycho PKer . . . but I thought he was funny.

    Sign: Slow
    Infection/Mutation/Outbreak/Quarantine: Frustrating (damned virus monsters)
    Legend (TV): Annoying

What were the animes that came with the games?
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

They told the story of the people in the real world. In the first game a news article appears that tells of the case in the dvd that came with it. Same with the second game. The with the last game the people in the real world actually are doing everything at the same time kite is fighting the final boss. It all works out.
