Default The first record you ever bought?

Some friends and I were talking about this the other day, and it was surprising how many of us didn't know what our first record purchase was. I've always remembered mine to be Blur's Country House, but very few others seemed to know their first purchase. I thought it was something you'd remember, but apparently not.

Can you remember the first single/album you bought?
"The most important and recognize player in the history of the country."

Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.

I really have no idea. My parents bought most of my cds/tapes before, and I don't remember the first one I ever bought.

But I'll say The Spice Girls' "Spice", though, because that has to be close.

    Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory

I wasn't into music enough to actually pay for it till I got into LP. That was ages ago now.

The first record... probably "Tracy Chapman's selv-titled debut album from 1988". I got the cassette when I was 6... so that means, I got it in 1993.

David Kersh's debut "Goodnight, Sweetheart" album on cassette, probably around '96.

My parents bought me some stupid crap in the 80's liek Huey Lewis and stuff, but the first two cds I remember buying were Shostakovich's 5th Symphony and Pearl Jam - Ten.

Three Lions '98 was my first single. The Offspring's Americana was my first album.
