Thread: Souper food? (Pun intended)

    Default Souper food? (Pun intended)

Why is it that Soup fills your hunger and not your thirst, when it's a liquid?

It's salty. I hate soup, but broth is nice sometimes, when you're sick.

Watermelon. Now that fills you up and satisfies thirst. <3

I agree, soup is way too salty for drinking.

apples good for that.. i got home from thai boxin very late the other nite all i wanted was an apple .. it was soo yummy, filled me up just enough to last the nite and the juices quenched me a lot.

Then i found out that eating an apple before bed causes it to ferment and destroy the stomach. lurverly.

    watermelon tastes weird to me.

Why can't we go on a tagent?

I wanted to mention how people mistake Thirst as being hunger, which leads to overeating!

The flavour of soup is too savoury to appeal to thirst over hunger, I'd say.

Dosn't soup feed your thirst and your hunger?

I agree with Zelda. It is good liquid-wise and very nutritional, so...it's good for you XD

Soup never fills my hunger. I usually require something a little more filling.

    Milk, perhaps?
