I agree with you on all of your points. I had no idea that people had even THOUGHT of taking the tsunami money back, that’s disgraceful!
As for Corby though, it seems plainly obvious to me that she’s guilty, and if so then she deserves to spend 20 years in prison for the way she’s turned Australians against Indonesia. It may not be all her fault though, this country is fairly intolerant of foreign justice systems, despite how much we preach “multiculturism” and “equality”. The whole matter is just so ridiculous!
To put it simply: She was trialed, she was found guilty and now she’s going to rot for the next 20 years. IMO she hasn’t acted like someone that’s innocent, she’s trying to exploit the tension between the Western world and Asia to get out of a situation that she was stupid enough to get herself into in the first place. Lets not make this worse than we already have….
