Box Art?

A few websites (credible websites, but not enough of them to be credible) are posting this as the Kingdom Hearts II box art. It even has the NTSC-J and parental warnings on it. I've seen the picture before, it's cool I guess. What do you guys think? And do you think this is the one they will go with? (I remember they had like three different box arts on the internet when waiting for Final Fantasy X-2, and they all turned out to be wrong)

I guess it's okay, but I'm sure they will put a bit more effort into whatever it will be. Like the KH one, that rocked.

I'm pretty sure that won't be the final boxart. That graphic has been floating around way too long--it's fan-created. The box will probably be a lot more flashy and have some art we haven't seen before.

looks very kewl, but even if thats the japanese one, we're still gonna get a new box art over here in the states. thats just how tradition goes.

that looks like something someone has wipped together on photoshop. i don't think that'll be the final box art.

Where did you get that that was fan art? That's not fan art. It was released ages ago, but Square-Enix released it. They had to have, when that picture was released no one knew Kairi's hair was that length. If a fan had made it they probably would have based Kairi's hair length on the Another Side, Another Story video.

also, the background looks to white for the game, it should be that dark purple that they used in kh1 so much. It may be the box art but i'm pretty sure it won't be.

Nah, this art has been floating around the net for WAYYY to long. It's fan created, and if it were real, i'm pretty sure that they wouldn't make mistakes like leaving a large blank spot under the t and the s (and under more letters), asif it were just made on PS, or maybe even Paint. This is not what the box art will look like :P

walmart.com is not the best site for this information, but I can imagine gamespot.com wouldn't put up a fan made box art for a game, they are a rather good gaming site after all. I can imagine they would get a bunch of fan-crazed hate mail for pulling a stunt like that. And, walmart is a business, it wouldn't be good for business to put false information out there. It probably wouldn't hurt them though. I doubt this is fan made.

Yeesh, you didn't understand what i read. There is a large white spot under the T and the S, and also under the K: shown here That tells you that the person who made this neglected to review that mistake. And since Kairi and BHK's face is still hidden, that would have been made long before the trailers were released.

Group Picture
That is the picture of the group itself, and since the "box art" has the exact same picture, with additional pasted images, hence the Kingdom Hearts Logo having blank spots (where it should be blue). The box art you posted is fan made, because it is really simple to make the parental rating and the PS2 logo on top on PS. Even I could make that boxart like that.

but seriosly, do you want that to be the kh2 cover. It would be a major dissapointment, especially after how cool the first kh cover was.

I didn't say I particularly liked it (it's not bad, just not that good), I just said some websites were posting it. The first Kingdom Hearts box art was very cool. I wouldn't imagine they would include King Mickey but not Riku on the box art, that wouldn't be very inclusive as far as the montage they might be going for goes. However, if you look at the official Square-Enix websites for KH and KH:CoM, the front page art is the same as the box art. And on the KHII website, that is the front page art. They haven't released the North American website yet though, so maybe they'll change it.
