I have only seen the first one & it done my head in. Perhaps because it was used as English Courswork in my Year 11 class & we watched it about 7 times, which was very boring. & some of the parts in the film were rewound over & over again 'cause some of the thickies needed to watch some parts again because they couldn't get the grasp of it. That's why I dislike the film, I loathe it.

I saw the first one and the translation to portuguese is brilliant! n_n'! I know some quotes of it in portuguese.... my favourite part of the first is when Shrek is rescuing Fiona, is brilliant, he shakes her to wake up her instead of kissing her...

Not only are they extremely funny movies, but they did something I have never ever seen an American kid's film... or any film, I believe... do. They had the princess turn into an ogre and stay that way. Instead of making her stay gorgeous, she became an ogre for good, and I thought that was wonderfully touching and deep.

Yes. It's very rare that American films do that. Surprised me as well.

I think they're great, but I barely remember the first one. The Prince has got to be my favorite character, though. So cute.

One of the better animated films I've seen.

I loved the first one. I liked the second one but I thought it was a little too heavy on all the in-jokes. Too many pop culture references, done too quickly and without much sublety. But man, Puss in Boots killed me.

Puss in boots is Antonio Banderas. It can't get more perfect than that.
