okay i'll answer lou's question seriously i think trabia's specialty is magic and no gf's are not magic they are magical guardian creatures to be called on by seed's when needed (wish i can do it with odin too)

I always thought they specialised in magic. Considering how advanced Selphie is in magic with her limit break and her strength of magic in the game - I just always thought of Trabia as the one who specialised in magic.

So i assume there is properly a magitek research faclilty in Trabia where they extract magic from monsters and GF and turn them into magicite so that the student can use magic.They also specialize in producing magic related war machines like the magitek armor.

Btw, I just thought of something. Student needs to go to Balamb garden to take tests to became SeeD if I remember correctly. So I assume Galbadia specialize in practical fighting while Trabia specialize in the theories and Balamb specialize in both.
