Your best score in Super Metroid?

At the end of Super Metroid, it tells you how long it took you to beat the game, and how many items you got. The more items, and the less time it takes to beat the game, the better your score is.

My best scores:

1st. 2 Hours and 41 Minutes, and 61% of all the items.

2nd. 6 Hours and 48 Minutes, and 68% of all the items.

I forgot what my 3rd score was from a long time ago. >_< Probably something like 20 hours and 59%. n_n;

What are your best scores?

1 hour and 14 minutes with around 70-ish% items.

2 hours and 12 minutes with 65% of the items. I always get stuck somewhere for just a bit.

Somewhere around ed's time. I'm not really good at pure speed-running, though, since I'm always compelled to get every last item.

But it's in good hands.

i love this game, the greatest platformer on snes... i love its awesome boss battle, exept the last, it kinda makes collecting everything pointless.

86 percent, 4 or 5 hours (i got stuck in the acid place and the water place)

I watched a supergeek in the digital animation lab at my former college beat the game in under 2 hours with a 100% item collection and I haven't touched the game since.

I don't know if it's my fastest ever, but I loaded up a fairly old right-before-Tourian file, beat the game as fast as I could, and came out with a time of 1:26 with 100% of the items. Hey, only 31 minutes slower than the record!

Around 1:30 on 100%, give or take 5 minutes or so, I've lost so many Super Metroid save files in computer wipes it's not true >_>

I generally get around 2:15 or so with 100% if I'm not trying too hard.

I've probably lost just as many since I've had the cartridge since 1994 and you only have three spaces.

1:19 with 100%

I could probably get to 1:00 with a bunch of items chopped off, as I don't need all 230 missles, or the x-ray visor, or all 50 power bombs, etc...

Stop it, you're making me want to hunt all over London for a SNES and Super Metroid again.

Last time I spent 10 hours, £20 in travel fares and found NOTHING.

I would recommend going to ebay.
