Wonder how people didn´t notice this.

Theory:The promised land is exactly on Midgar.Not on the northern crater.

Evidence:There were many Mako reactors on Midgar.Which means this is the place with the most Mako.

I know this is offtopic but this has a purpose here.

Having a lot of Mako reactors doesn't mean that is a lot of Mako in Midgar cause the HQ of Shinra is situtated there and they have to make their city flourish which required a lot of energy so they drained every bit of energy using the eight reactors from the earth itself to support the energy needed for the various sectors. That is why the ground around Midgar is a barren of wasteland.

And do you know President Shinra intended to build other Midgar in the promised land? Cause he realize the mako in Midgar is nothing compared to the promised land which is the northern crater.

It´s not like in your story
In your story the facts contradict what the narrator says.
In the story of FF8 there is not even a narrator.
Not even the information section of the tutorial appears as a narrator but as a sum of the information acquired in the game.

That is an example my friend. It is the moral of the story that counts.

The script is not lying.It is some characters inside it that lye.Is it so difficult to put this on your head?
Squaresoft created a story.
Since this is not a veridical fact it don´t makes sence to say that Square is "lying".

Square puts some characters lying.They lie because Square wanna them to lie.
Because Square intended some thruths behind the story and put some characters lying about it.

Look, Sir Bahamut lied in my story caused I made him to lie. And I intended the so called "truth" behind my story and make him lie.

And so they fall off a cliff caused they can't recognize the truth.
