I happen to agree..Diet sodas don't taste the same...but when you're diabetic, diet is what you're stuck with...because a serving of soda is between 100 and 160 or more calories, and between 20 and 50 grams of sugars, or half a meal's worth. I happen to like carbonated stuff, so diet is the way to go...my only problem with the diet stuff is that it tends to be TOO sweet, like they're overcompensating for the lack of sugar.
