Would KH been as popular if it focused on Disney's live action franchises rather than its animated ones? As much as I would have liked to take on the heartless with Goldberg the goalie, Pollyanna, and That Darn Cat!, I just don't think it would have the same magic.

They'd have to convert their RL chars into suitable cartoon versions. It's just that much easier to use animated ones for that very reason.

Yeah, the are adding in PotC, but I think that might actually work. But any other live action movie Disney has made (That I can think of) probably wouldn't work with Kingdom Hearts.
i don't think it would. The reason PotC is working so well is because unlike some of the others, it was whimsicle, and had that element of fantasy in it.
Peter Pan (the live version) was based on the book and therefore had a better story. Unfortunately, it was cursed with horrid acting throughout its entirety.
Hook would be a good flick to game as well.
