Then the land was discovered by the Europeans and they began coming over by the boatload, killing the "savages" who dared to occupy the land they "found." The East coast colonies were under British rule, but the damn bastards kept taxing us for damn ass tea and stamps and stuff so we kicked their fruity asses back to the mother land.
