For summer before senior year I had to read:

Falling Leaves (meh)
In the Time of the Butterflies (I liked this one)
A more well known book that I forget at the moment

It wasn't that bad, though we really weren't tested on them much, so it kind of felt wasted.

Now I read in the summer for fun.
