Treasure Hunter and Adventurer Levels???

What are they for? Do you get any bonuses for the items/areas you find? I'm just curious cause I've not found anything online or in the manual that touches on them.

well... it's just for fun really. it's to see how many of the treasures and hidden lands you can find. plus you get money and exp and jp out of doing the prepositions.

Specifically, you can reach Adventurer level 8 by finding all 16 Undiscovered Lands, and you can reach Treasure Hunter level 8 by finding all 31 Treasures. Any proposition that gives just Gil will not affect these levels.

It's mainly for bragging rights I think.

Ah, I see. I was thinking it was, but got to wondering if any of the finds would give you stat bonuses or something. Maybe open up new places...that would have been neat.
