Pets!

As a dog lover I've had some dogs in the past, & I have plenty of pictures, so I'll get some up soon, but I can't now. Pets that I have now are just tropical fish. They are not mine though, they are my stepdad's. To be honest I find fish in general to be extremely boring. They are interesting to look at, but get boring after a while. But still, each to their own, eh?

The breed of the fish are called 'Convicts' 'cause they have white & black stripes like [prisoners used to] / [still have] on their prison uniform. The other breed *I* have is called a 'Firemouth'.. I don't think you need a description there. Other pets I have had in my life time are goldfish & a cat called Spike.

I have a parrot named Harley, and two hermit crabs, though I think I only have a photo of Harley. My hermit crab Nemo has a blue shell with Dorey from Finding Nemo on it. But Nemo is a better name than Dorey. And the other, named Twister, has a yellow, green and red shell.

Harley is a pretty Harlequin macaw.

you can keep hedgehogs as pets?????? i think its illegel or something here to sell them as pets

They're illegal in a few states, including this one. California has a pet law that states an animal has to be declared legal, as opposed to most other places that make certain pets illegal. Hedgehogs aren't legal in California, but anyone who cares is a jerk.

On that note, the fire department came by today for their annual fire safety insepction. I did not let them in!
