Vincent is not Lestat
Vincent is not a vampire. So why do people keep saying that he is? It's not exactly people on this site, but on loads of other sites, I see this all the time. So, why is this? Is it just because he doesn't age, and lives in a coffin? He doesn't have any fangs, and doesn't drink blood as far as I know. And he can stand the daylight.
So...can we all agree that he isn't a vampire, and I can smite these nonbelievers? Or do YOU think he is one? (If that's the case, please post your reasons).

Being a vampire in Final Fantasy certainly wouldn't be easy. I mean it's never night time in FF world. Until you sleep at the inn anyway.
He's not really a vampire, but he has a lot of similarities to them; for example, sleeping in a coffin. Incidentally, the character Keith Valentine in Shadow Hearts is a vampire, and he has a number of similarities to Vincent. Wonder if he's a tribute. The Aeris/Alice similarities have already been pointed out elsewhere, I believe, so it's not entirely unbelievable.
he is an artificial vampire.which means hes has some vampire aspect but also he has been made a shapeshifter so id call him an artificial monster not vampire.

He's like a werewolf, or Lichen (the gang of werewolf dudes in the movie Underworld who rivalled the vampires).
Certainly this is obvious because he turns into a monster during his limit breaks. And he can tolerate daylight, and don't have fangs, and don't turn into a bat, or have any other qualities of vampires, except that he sleeps in a coffin. Therefore he's a "Werewolf" of sorts, because of Hojo's doing.
