    Default Rome: Total War

Anybody played this game? It's the sequel to Shogun: Total War and Medeival: Total War. The graphics and gameplay are amazing. It's incredibly realistic. Most strategy games don't have this: when archers fire arrows they can hit your own units. You go through a campaign as one of the Roman families and try to extend the reach of the Roman empire and fight or make allies with the other factions. The battles can be filled with over 6000 units at once.

I have to agree that it's a brilliant game. Seeing thousands of troops slaughtered on the battlefield is a truly moving sight.

    Especially when they're my troops...
