Well, now they're not being held in New York... everyone can shut up about the West Side Stadium! I can't go 5 minutes without seeing a commercial about it.
It's all that girl's fault from The Apprentice! If she had had an American flag in the parade of flags New York City would have been selected.
During that whole fiasco, they were hurting some small American busnisses when they said they were holding the Olympics (and they never did)

Originally I'd objected to our application, since I thought we had no chance of winning and that the millions spent on the campaign would go to waste. Now that we've won I'm pleased, since that money wasn't spent in vain, and the Olympics are set to double hosue prices in my area.
