I ran across this in another forum. Wanted to know what everyone thinks about this. Discuss!

GTA: Quahog? Family Guy gets game deal

"It seems today that all you see is violence in movies and sex on TV." The first line of Family Guy's theme left one thing out--Family Guy on a video game system. Take-Two Interactive and Airborne Entertainment have attained the rights to publish games based on the animated dysfunctional family.


Under the arrangement, Grand Theft Auto publisher Take-Two can produce Family Guy games for multiple platforms. Take-Two is currently developing a third-person action game based on the show and will publish it under its newly formed 2K Games brand. The game is expected to get into gamers' hands in 2006. No specific platforms have been announced.

I didnt say this was 100% true, I was just throwing it out there to see what everyone else thought. I think it seems a little far fetched myself.

The cutaways would be kind of like Eternal Darkeness' sanity effects, except they'd be dissapointingly predictable and lame compared to the promising premise given in the game.

Here, I found more links from an actual respected gaming site. It appears as though they are planning on releasing games on Playstation 2, XBOX, and GBA. I hope this gets everyone off my back for posting a link to a forum. Jeez.
