Fight against my country? As in, be a soldier? If that's the case, the only circumstances I would fight against my country is a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" sort of thing, where they're going to blow up the earth unless I fight to stop it.
Other than that, I would chicken out and flee to a safe haven. *shrug*
be a soldier yes...... or in a civil war, revolution, rebellion, assinate the head of state, etc.
The only example I can think of is if I was living under an oppressive totalitarian regime.

I would not participate in war voluntarily. To participate in war I am forced to join one of the sides, and there are never a side in war sharing my opinions. If they would share my opinions they would not be fighting a war. Fighting against relative evil together with people whom I partly disagree with is just something I do not wish to do. Choosing the lesser of two evils rarely brings a positive change.

My loyalty to my country isn't absolute. If the actions of the government began to threathen the saftey and well being of it's citizens, I wouldn't stand for that. A draft for the War in Iraq would be one of those actions that would prompt me to go against my government.
Genocide, or something similar. They'd have to be *actual* nazis though, not retorical ones.
i dont feel loyal to my country or any other country. i feel loyal to the planet as a whole, and i would fight against any government of the world if there was cause
