Press pause/unpause repeatedly. I think the select button had something to do with it too but now I'm not remembering. I used to do it on my Gameboy, mostly in the final area.
Correct. Yeah I do it in the final area too. It's actually just pressing the SELECT button repeatedly, not pause. But since you mentioned it, it's your turn.
Which is why it doesn't count.Originally Posted by Lindy

It's either 13 or 14. I went to http://www.classicgaming.com/mdb/m1/artwork.htm to find out.
Rye made this!
I'd say two. One for the original release (the pixelated stuff they thought looked cool back then) and one for the rerelease (the Samus picture lifted out of the Metroid II art).Originally Posted by Chzn8r

I can only think of 2. The one she used in every game but fusion. Fusion's was just...wierd.
That is my half-ass answer and I am sticking to it. I don't know the names of the ships because I thought they were just called the ship.
They don't have names that I'm aware of. And you missed a lot.
Well, Metroid~Super Metroid, I think are the same ship, and the same kind is used in Metroid Prime and Prime 2, not sure though.
Metroid Zero Mission uses an alternate style of ship, which I think is also shown as the ship Samus uses in the Metroid Prime 3, at least in the trailers anyway.
And then there's the Fusion ship, which I actually liked quite a lot.
